My background is in fashion photography. It all started in Paris 8 years ago: one day, my work got spotted online by a modeling agency who booked me take portraits of their models. Shortly after, Parisian PR agencies started commissioning me to cover Paris Fashion Weeks and other fashion events. Next thing you know, I was shooting weddings, branding and family sessions in Paris, London and Dublin!

Clients book me for my documentary approach to photography as I always aim to create visually striking, authentic, and emotive lifestyle photographs.

I’m based in Buckinghamshire and have recently expanded to Somerset, but I’m happy to travel wherever the job takes me – I was even flown to Malaysia to shoot a wedding! For family and couples sessions, I prefer shooting outdoors as I’m a natural light photographer but I can also take photos in your home which is wonderful if you have a newborn baby or would rather stick to a personable setting.

The most frequently asked question I get from my clients is “What should I wear?”. Dealing with the styling process when finding something to wear for your scheduled photography session is a massive source of stress which I want to reduce as much as possible for my lovely clients. That is why I have written a ‘What to wear guide’ which I will send you once the booking is confirmed, and I also provide styling assistance during the pre-shoot consultation phase of the booking should you need help. Last but not least, you’ll also receive your ‘Photo session checklist’ which is packed with tips and tricks on how to optimise your experience with me!

I have a client closet which you’re free to borrow pieces from. A client closet consists of a carefully curated collection of beautiful dresses, accessories and props that I’ve selected to enhance my style of photography. I created my client closet purely to make your Constance Doyle Photography experience as hassle-free and smooth as possible! It is my pride and joy and a client favourite when choosing me as a photographer!

Yes, I do. Once you have decided that you want to go ahead with the booking and we have both confirmed the shoot date, I’ll send a contract and invoice. I require a non-refundable booking fee (also called session fee) to secure the date. The remainder of the balance must be paid by the day of the photoshoot.

I book slots on a first come first served basis and unfortunately can’t hold dates which is why the booking fee was put in place to confirm the booking.

Once you’ve booked me, you have me!

Due to the volume of bookings I’ve been getting since lockdown, I’d advise to book early or as soon as possible. My pro tip: if you have a good feeling about me, my work, and my price, then go for it!

When it comes to weddings, I only take a limited number of bookings a year that way my couples have the attention they deserve and can benefit from my signature dedicated personal service. Remember, you only have to pay 25% of the total rate to book, even if its a year or two before your wedding day! If you want to know if I’m available to capture your big day, message me here.

I don’t expect children to “be good” during their session. In fact, if they get to be a little naughty, that will probably get us some genuine smiles and laughter. What you can do is allow your child to be themselves. Just this once the kids are in charge! Try not to tell them no or scold them for anything during our time together and your photos will turn out happy and carefree!

All photographs will be shot in digital format. Digital photos will be made available to download no later than 4 weeks after the shoot date – the wait can be a little longer during peak/ wedding season.

Yes, I do! A gift voucher for a photoshoot experience makes the most perfect birthday, Christmas, baby shower, graduation, wedding or anniversary gift and so many of you have purchased one and come back to me saying this was the best gift they could think of! I’m afraid not, however it’s always a bonus for me when I haven’t been to a venue before! Elements such as the lighting, seasonal aesthetics and weather conditions on your special day will inspire me and dictate where and how I will shoot. As these type of things change so frequently, it would be impossible for me to visit a venue in the exact same conditions as it will be on your wedding day - and planning each shot would take the creativity and fun out of it! But don’t worry, I always allow extra time on the day to see what’s working and how I can create my signature magic on your big day!

Yes, I have a public liability insurance. I'm happy to provide my policy documents if your venue requires.
